The possible reasons for your customers' card declines include:
- Invalid card details
- Exceeded card limit
- Unauthorized credit/debit card
- Other reasons
Please instruct your customers to:
- Verify if their card is active
- Ensure that the card is not expired or closed
- Enter the correct card number
- Ensure the card limit is not exceeded
If, however, the card payment methods on your CHIP account are preventing all customers from making payments, please notify us for troubleshooting.
